August 30th, 2007 — Lily Collins, Phil Collins, celebuspawn

It’s Lily Collins, daughter of Phil Collins! I’m not quite sure what or who this photoshoot is for, but she looks very elegant and mature in it. Apparently she’s involved with Nickelodeon these days. See more photos after the jump.

August 29th, 2007 — Britney Spears, wtf

She’s pulled shit like this before but seriously this is on a whole new level. I just want to grab her by her fake hair and yell at her, “THAT IS A SHIRT! A SHIRT!! MEANING YOU MUST WEAR SOMETHING ON THE BOTTOM HALF!”
I am just baffled. Baffled! Who goes out dressed like that? And it’s actually a semi-cute shirt! How hard is it to throw on a pair of jeans?!?
August 29th, 2007 — Emma Roberts

Say hi to Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts, in the newest issue of Flaunt Magazine. She’s 16 and apparently a budding actress/singer. Yay! She’s also applying her eyeshadow and lipstick like a 6 year old who just got into mommy’s stash of makeup. Oh just kidding, I know there was a makeup artist on hand and Emma didn’t do this to herself. So the real question is: who lets a six year old apply makeup at a professional photoshoot?
Also, just so we’re clear on this: orange lipstick is never a good thing. Never.

August 29th, 2007 — Keira Knightley

Here are my thoughts on Keira Knightley, just in case you’ve ever kept yourself awake at night with paralyzing curiosity, dying to know how I feel about the actress:
- I think she’s pretty in a Natalie Portman type of way.
- Actually, I would probably consider her a low-rent Natalie Portman as far as her acting talent is concerned.
- Yes she’s probably too skinny but I try not to judge/comment too much on body issues (unless the person is Nicole Richie) because I do think lots of super thin people are just genetically supposed to be super thin. End of story.
- Her smile is so pretty.
- I love her dress here.
So in conclusion I’m sure you’ve deduced that yes, I am a fan of Keira. Sure, she’s not perfect, but I think she has potential. And she’s really pretty.

August 29th, 2007 — guess who
August 29th, 2007 — Elijah Wood, viral video
There are no words. I urge you to watch the whole thing, because the best part is probably when he “goes craaaazzzzzy” at the end. You might need to watch it a few times because the first time all you’re going to want to watch is Elijah Wood, but I assure you there is a lot going on in this timeless Youtube clip.
August 28th, 2007 — Heidi Klum, Project Runway, Television
August 27th, 2007 — Owen Wilson

I’m sure by now you’ve read about Owen Wilson’s alleged suicide attempt. I don’t think this is really the time or place to be snarky, because while some people may have no sympathy for the rich and famous getting so disillusioned that they’re willing to end it all (rather than park themselves on a fabulous island with a mai tai in hand), I just find it sad. I have always liked Owen Wilson (though with regards to acting I prefer brother Luke’s approach) and hope that whatever happened - suicide attempt or not - he takes some time to get healthy.
August 27th, 2007 — quote of the day, viral video
The question: Recent polls have shown 1/5th of Americans can’t locate the US on a world map. Why do you think this is?
Her answer: I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uhmmm, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps and uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as uh, South Africa, and uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uhhh, our education over here in the US should help the US, uh, should help South Africa, it should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for us.
Double whammy! Viral video of the day AND quote of the day in one delicious post! Remember: don’t blame me if your IQ plummets after watching the above video. Blame the Miss Universe Organization for mandating that an interview competition round account for 50% of these beauties’ final score.
