According to the Daily Mail, Amy Winehouse has checked herself into rehab. This one really is just too easy, so I’m going to forgo snark and simply say that Amy is an extremely talented musician and I really hope she gets the help she needs.

She is seeking help at The Priory in Roehampton after her shocking drink and drugs lifestyle finally took its toll.

A friend claims: “She looked like a zombie — white as a sheet and trembling.

“And I’ll never forget her eyes. They were dead, like a shark. Even Amy says she will be dead within one year.”

The star began the bender on Monday after landing at Heathrow from a music festival in Chicago.

I’m holding out hope that Amy’s treatment is actually successful since so many stars have made a mockery out of the rehabilitation process in the last year.
