
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) was forced to step in after it was discovered that L’Oreal had been creating some “misleading” mascara advertisements with fake eyelashes. The new Telescopic mascara boasts a 60% increase in eyelash length. The ASA has ordered L’OrĂ©al to add a disclaimer to future ads whenever models are shown wearing false lashes.
